NYS Workmens Comp Rate for Code 5213 Concrete Construction
Description: This code is considered a “NOC” meaning when no other specific code applies. This code includes all commercial types of concrete building construction. For example, self-supporting floors, foundations, piers, culverts, silos, grain elevators. This code also includes making and erecting forms, placing reinforcing steel and stripping forms. This code includes concrete walls that are poured into flat forms on ground level and subsequently tilted into place.
This code does not include the ground-supported floor of a building that is poured either at the beginning or end of the construction job (refer to code 5221).
Code 5213 includes use of precast concrete and the slip-form method of construction. It also includes grouting operation employees who place cement or plastic compounds in holes that have been drilled by others.

Pricing: Solid companies with a good loss history can obtain better than average pricing on NYS Workers compensation rates.
