NYS Workmen Comp Class Code 5480 for Plastering and Drivers 

Description: This code is applied to contractors engaged in interior plastering operation (not covered in other codes which more specifically describe the operation.). This involves the mixing of plaster with water and the hand application of the mixture by use of a trowel to interior walls or partitions. On occasion this may include taping, filling and sanding joints and nail holes on wall board already installed. Also, this includes workers engaged in waterproofing the interior of buildings by application of a waterproofing compound using a trowel.
