NYS Workers Comp Rate for Code 3726 Steam Boiler
Description: NYS Workers Comp Code 3726 covers contractor employees who install or repair commercial high or low pressure steam boiler systems. This work includes excavation; foundation work; rigging of drums and headers into place; setting of tubes into headers; installation of super heating units; and installation of all steam fittings up to but not beyond the header valves, blow-off valves and water intake valves. This Code also covers contractors who industrial boiler scaling and cleaning of tanks.
This Code does not apply to domestic boilers. (Refer to Code 5183).
