NY Workers’ Comp manufacturing class code 1701, Cement Mfg., has increased from 4.65 to 5.58, a 20% increase. This class code is applied to insureds engaged in the manufacturing of cement, including plaster.
-NY Workers’ Comp manufacturing class code 1748, Abrasive Wheel Mfg. & Drivers, has increased from 6.04 to 7.44, a 23.2% increase. This class code is applied to insureds engaged in is applied to insureds engaged in the compounding, molding and finishing operations required to fabricate or manufacture the finished abrasive wheel.
-NY Workers’ Comp manufacturing class code 1860, Abrasive Paper or Cloth Preparation, has increased from 7.97 to 10.72, a 34.5% increase. This class code is applied to insureds engaged in the manufacturing of abrasive paper or cloth commonly known as sandpaper or emery cloth in the form of belts, sheets, rolls or special shapes.
-NY Workers’ Comp manufacturing class code 1925, Die Casting Mfg, has increased from 4.20 to 5.73, a 36.4% increase. This class code is applied to insureds engaged in die casting and finishing of various components for its customers.
