Description: This code covers the installation of drywall, wallboard, plasterboard, Sheetrock, or cement board in domestic or commercial buildings. This code includes cutting and nailing the board to studs; taping; joint compound application; sanding; and texturing.
This code applies even if each of the operations are performed by separate work crews.
This code also applies to contractors installing metal stud partition systems prior to the drywall installation.
